To come back from mid-August summer holidays to watch our RS-GPs race purposefully towards a spot in the top-ten: that’s what we were wishing for, and Silverstone made that wish come true, giving us the boost in confidence that we needed.
That was already clear just metres into the race, with both of our Aprilias off to an excellent start, launching Andrea Iannone and Aleix Espargaró into the fierce battle for the top ten positions. The race continued to heat up, but the RS-GPs demonstrated outstanding consistency, staying with the second group.
