Summer is calling louder than ever before… and, of course, any true racer will respond accordingly! As the first ray of sunshine appears on the first day of your leave, the immediate temptation is to hop on the bike, still in your pyjamas, and head off at full throttle for distant places and to get away as far as possible from the humdrum of daily life, losing yourself in amongst the bends on mountain roads before symbolically diving into the waves of the sea with your bike!
Great mental picture, isn’t it? A little less so perhaps if that temptation, combined with the mad haste to leave, causes you to forget all about a number of important things to do and precautions to take before heading off on your summer biking holiday!
